PCC Calculator
Work out the plain cement concrete for a bed or base — cement, sand and aggregate — from the area and thickness. Defaults to a 100 mm M10 (1:3:6) bed; change the grade for levelling courses.

How it's calculated
Volume is bed area × thickness. That's scaled by 1.54 to dry volume and split by the PCC grade ratio into cement, sand and aggregate. PCC carries no steel — it's a plain base, so for a reinforced member use the RCC calculator instead.
Volume = area × thickness → ×1.54 → split by grade. PCC has no reinforcement.
Pouring a reinforced member on top? Use the RCC calculator. Totalling a whole job? The BOQ estimator.
Frequently asked questions
PCC vs RCC?
PCC is plain (no steel), used as a base; RCC has reinforcement and carries load.
Common PCC grade?
M7.5 or M10 for beds; M5 for thin levelling.
Bed thickness?
75–100 mm typical under footings and floors.
